Welcome to my new blog!

Okay, so I finally decided it was time to make the jump (yep, I actually made that pun) from Blogger to WordPress. Partly, that’s because I made the classic newbie mistake of naming my other blog after my first book, Jump When Ready. Now that I’m about to publish a new novel, it seemed like creating a “David Pandolfe” blog made sense. Was I perhaps thinking before that maybe I’d just publish the one  book? I admit, that did cross my mind as I tentatively dipped my toe into indie publishing. But so far I love indie publishing and, like I said, my new novel, Streetlights Like Fireworks, will be coming out soon. So, thanks for visiting my new site! Looking forward to this…

About these ads

David Pandolfe is the author of two novels, Jump When Ready and Streetlights Like Fireworks. Currently, he’s working on a sequel to Jump When Ready, to be published in 2014. His short fiction has also appeared in literary reviews (this made him feel really cool at the time but he would imagine they’ve since disappeared from the face of the earth). While he’s still writing about himself in third-person, David should probably also mention that he has an MFA in Creative Writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives outside Richmond, VA with his wife, two kids and a dog who’s terrified of thunder (not the best situation since it thunders often in Richmond).
